Origins: Manufacturing Custom-Made Industrial Solutions SInce 1929
Mr. Juan Barberán Borraz, a native of Nonaspe, province of Zaragoza, settled in Castelldefels and in 1929 he enthusiastically created a small business; a metal workshop that Jesús Barberán Albiac would later convert into a small metallurgical company.
The company developed with great effort and enthusiasm during its second and third generation with Jesús Barberán Albiac, Jesús Barberán Latorre and María Cinta Barberán Latorre until it became, today, a world leader in the wood industry.
Today Barberan is a family business dedicated to the manufacture of industrial machinery for surface finishing.
We design, create and produce machinery to improve the productivity of our clients in the industrial sectors of furniture, construction, decoration and more recently packaging.
Our business is structured in 4 divisions: laminating, coating, varnishing and digital printing.
We export 95% of our production and our machinery is present in factories in more than 60 countries on 5 continents.

In our industrial plant we carry out a comprehensive process to guarantee quality and efficiency in production.
We have several specialized sections: Warehouse and Reception of Raw Materials, Painting and Sheet Metal Cutting, Assembly and Welding, Machinery Section, Machining Shop, Loading Section, Electrical Section, Digital Assembly Room and Assembly of Spare Parts, Warehouse and Order Preparation, Reception of Commercial Material Goods, Specialized Assembly in a Production Line, Digital Test Room, Inkjet Section of the R&D Laboratory and Varnishing and Digital Printing Test Room with Textures.
