Special Coating Lines for Adjustable Door Frames CA and MIB Series

CA Series

The CA model machine is used to glue two laths using EVA hot melt adhesive, creating a 90 degree angular profile. This “L” shaped profile can be wrapped with foil or wood veneer in a profile wrapping machine. Furthermore, the sharp edge of the profile can be rounded with a milling cutter before being wrapped. This angular profile finds application in various uses such as edge protectors, picture frames, furniture components and adjustable door frames.

CA-P Series

The model CA-P machine is designed to improve the finish at the profile joint by using thinner foils in the wrapping. It requires the main lath to have a pre-machined rebate that matches the thickness of the other lath. This design allows a substantially better finish to be achieved after wrapping, almost imperceptible at the joint.
